PC165—Spectinomycin

PC165 performs outstandingly in the extraction of antibiotics. In the purification process of Spectinomycin, PC165 forms ionic bonds with carboxyl groups through acidic exchange sites, achieving efficient adsorption.
PC165 is superior in adsorption capacity and desorption rate. The operating temperature is usually between room temperature and 30 °C, making it suitable for large-scale continuous production. Its weak acid group is stable at pH 4-6, avoiding corrosion by strong acid resin and reducing equipment maintenance costs. In actual production, PC165 is often used in combination with processes such as activated carbon decolorization, ultrafiltration/nanofiltration, etc., achieving an overall recovery rate of approximately 64% and significantly enhancing the economic efficiency of the process. In conclusion, PC165 has become the preferred resin for the industrial purification of Spectinomycin due to its high selectivity, excellent renewability and economy.
